Reflection (new)

Alex and I had tons of fun writing, acting, and filming out our video, Sh*t procrastinators say. Coming up with the idea was fairly easy, as we both had a lot of material to go on with the topic, and it was somewhat a prominent feature of our school lives. The hard part, however, came after the idea. Finding unique ideas to put in our video was hard, and relating the humour to our fellow classmates was even more difficult, as they all seem to be abnormally responsible and punctual. Luckily, our classmates were not the ones grading our product, instead was a teacher familiar with the topic.

Once we began filming our video, the satire we used seemed to work well with the idea behind the video. Using small snippets of humour within a generally serious idea generally created an air of "funny seriousness" (I'm not quite sure how to describe it) that fit the bill for a Sh*t people say video. Using this type of humour worked well for us because it didn't require funny (or good) acting on Alex or I's part. Overall, I think we created a pretty entertaining, satirical video. Creating a funny video was tough, but wasn't extremely difficult.
