Satire

During WW2, America suffered a terrible loss when Pearl Harbor on Hawaii was bombed. Several hundred men were lost, and no natural resources or important military technology was destroyed. America was devastated. Not only had they lost a very small portion of their military and a few million dollars, they were humiliated and devastated.

America responded in the way only a technologically and militarily superior nation could. They retaliated quickly and justly against the Japanese. After losing so much on their tiny island of Hawaii, America nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They justifiably killed millions of people, because they can.
